Terms and conditions

1. Agreement and provider

By activating an account or using KAYAN after receiving these Terms, you agree to them, the Privacy Policy, the Health, Nutrition, Fitness and AI Notice, and the Community Guidelines. KAYAN FITNESS APP provides the platform. A gym may apply separate membership, facility, coaching and payment terms.

2. Eligibility and accounts

Provide accurate information, protect passwords, PINs, devices and two-factor credentials, and report suspected unauthorised use. Do not share a personal account, impersonate another person or bypass role, gym, access or security controls. Production access by anyone under 18 requires an approved age and guardian process.

3. The service

KAYAN provides memberships, access and bookings, workout and course tools, nutrition logging and plans, health statistics, wearable integration, progress, coaching, AI assistance, chat, calls, community, challenges, notifications and administration. Availability depends on country, device, permission, gym setup, provider and subscription. Material reductions to paid services remain subject to mandatory consumer law.

4. Health and emergency warning

KAYAN is a general fitness and wellness service. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent medical conditions. It is not emergency care or a substitute for a qualified professional. Contact local emergency services for urgent symptoms. Seek professional advice before changing exercise or diet if you are pregnant, under 18, injured, have a condition or allergy, take medication, have an eating disorder or receive an abnormal reading.

5. Workouts and routes

Exercise carries risks including serious injury. Use appropriate equipment and surroundings, follow safety instructions and stop for pain, dizziness, breathing difficulty, chest discomfort, faintness or unusual symptoms. GPS, route, pace, calorie and performance values are estimates. Do not follow a route or screen when unsafe. A gym or coach remains responsible for services it independently provides.

6. Nutrition

Food databases, barcodes, recipes, portions, calories, macros, BMR/TDEE targets and AI suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Check labels and ingredients. You are responsible for allergy, intolerance, religious, clinical, pregnancy and medication restrictions. General content is not a therapeutic diet unless a separately engaged qualified professional clearly says so.

7. Health devices and AI

Health platforms, watches, sensors, manual entries and derived statistics can contain errors, gaps and duplicates and are not guaranteed clinically accurate. AI is probabilistic and may invent facts or miss contraindications. KAYAN may send prompts and relevant member summaries to a configured AI provider as described in the Privacy Policy. Never rely on AI for emergencies, diagnosis, medication, supplements, pregnancy, rehabilitation or treatment.

8. Chat and community conduct

Do not send or post harassment, hate, threats, exploitation, non-consensual intimate material, dangerous health misinformation, scams, spam, malware, unlawful goods, unsafe challenges or another person’s confidential data. Respect blocks and rejected requests. Chat and calls are not represented as end-to-end encrypted and recipients can save or reshare content. The Community Guidelines form part of these Terms.

9. Your content

You retain rights in content you lawfully create. You grant KAYAN a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, technically format, display, transmit and moderate it only as needed to operate, secure and improve the service and serve your selected audience. You confirm you have the rights and permissions to upload it.

10. KAYAN content and prohibited use

KAYAN software, design, brand, catalogues and original content are protected. Except where law permits, do not scrape, resell, reverse engineer, disrupt, probe, bypass access controls or create an unauthorised competing service.

11. Moderation and appeals

KAYAN may limit distribution, remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate access for law, safety, security, infringement, non-payment or repeated or serious violations. Where required, we will give a reason and appeal path. Appeal at info@kayanfitnessapp.com. Urgent threats may be escalated to authorities.

12. Payments, cancellation and deletion

Price, billing interval, renewal, tax, cancellation and trial terms must appear before purchase. Apple, Google, a gym or another channel may add its own terms. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not automatically refund an elapsed period. For a subscription purchased through Apple or Google, manage renewal and cancellation in the relevant store account settings; for a gym purchase, contact the gym. Deleting your account or uninstalling KAYAN does not itself cancel a store subscription. Refund requests follow the purchase channel and applicable law. Mandatory consumer remedies remain. Account deletion may leave limited finance, security, safety, dispute and legal records where lawful.

13. Third-party services

KAYAN interoperates with gyms, health platforms, music and map providers, food catalogues, AI systems, communications providers and other third parties whose own terms apply. KAYAN remains responsible where the law makes it responsible for processors or platform design.

14. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KAYAN is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, exact health or nutrition values, fitness outcomes, community content or third-party availability. Nothing excludes mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Law, changes and contact

Egyptian law and Cairo courts are intended to apply, but this does not remove mandatory consumer, privacy or forum rights in your country. Material changes will be notified where required and renewed acceptance collected when necessary. Contact info@kayanfitnessapp.com.
